Christie Hazen: Artist's Statement

My photographs lean toward simplicity, fun, humor, candor and beauty. Not everything is worthy of being a photographic subject, but many things are. My task is to discern the difference and then express it. I want people to have a moment of recognition and appreciation, then see something unexpected in my photographs.
